2 lbs ground beef (or a mix of pork and beef)
1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably fresh)
1/2 cup milk
1/2 onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 eggs
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup ketchup
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground meat, breadcrumbs, milk, chopped onion, minced garlic, eggs, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix until well incorporated.
Transfer the meat mixture to a baking dish or lined loaf pan and shape it into a loaf.
Whisk together ketchup, brown sugar, and apple cider vinegar to form the glaze. Spread half of the glaze on top of the meatloaf.
Bake the meatloaf for about 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C), brushing on the remaining glaze after 30 minutes.
