1 can (10.5 ounces) cream of mushroom soup (or homemade)
1 cup sour cream
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
1 cup crispy fried onions
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tablespoon olive oil
Fresh herbs (like thyme or parsley) for garnish
Instructions
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add green beans and blanch for 3-4 minutes. Transfer to an ice bath.
In a bowl, mix cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Add cheese if using.
Drain cooled green beans and add to the creamy mixture. Stir until evenly coated.
Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish and spread evenly.
