2 cups of all-purpose flour
1 cup of unsalted butter (softened)
½ cup of granulated sugar
½ cup of powdered sugar (for rolling)
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
½ cup of fruit preserves or jam (for filling)
In a large mixing bowl, cream the softened butter and granulated sugar together until light and fluffy (about 3-5 minutes).
Mix in the vanilla extract, followed by gradually adding the all-purpose flour, stirring until combined.
