1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
2 eggs
1 tsp baking powder
1 tbsp ground cinnamon
1/4 cup brown sugar or coconut sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp nutmeg (optional)
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare a muffin tin by greasing it or using muffin liners.
In a bowl, mix the dry ingredients: whole wheat flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
In another bowl, whisk together the wet ingredients: Greek yogurt, honey, eggs, and vanilla extract.
Combine both mixtures until just combined.
To create the cinnamon swirl, in a bowl, combine brown sugar and cinnamon.
