  • 2 tbsp of Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 tsp of Salt
  • ½ tsp of Black Pepper
  • ¼ cup of Fresh Parsley, chopped
  • 2 pounds of Potatoes, peeled and chopped
  • ¼ cup of Butter
  • ½ cup of Milk
  • 1 tsp of Dried Herbs (e.g., thyme, rosemary)

  • Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, chopped onion, breadcrumbs, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, eggs, salt, black pepper, and fresh parsley. Mix until just combined.
  • Transfer the mixture to a lightly greased loaf pan or shape it into a freeform loaf on a lined baking sheet.
  • In a small bowl, mix additional ketchup with a tablespoon of brown sugar and a splash of vinegar. Brush this glaze over the top of the meatloaf.
  • Bake the meatloaf in the preheated oven for 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C). Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
  • While the meatloaf is baking, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the chopped potatoes for 15-20 minutes or until fork-tender.
  • Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Add butter, milk, and dried or fresh herbs, mashing until creamy. Season with salt and pepper.
