Description

Indulge in decadent Cajun Steak Alfredo This creamy dish delivers an irresistible flavor boost with every bite Perfect for any occasion

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye)
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

  • Instructions

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve about 1 cup of the pasta water, then drain and set aside.
  • While the pasta is cooking, season the steak liberally with Cajun seasoning. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. When hot, add the steak and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, depending on thickness and your preferred doneness. Remove the steak, let it rest, and slice it thinly.
  • In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine, and let it simmer for a few minutes. Gradually add the grated Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and smooth. If the sauce is too thick, add some reserved pasta water to reach your desired consistency.
  • Once your sauce is ready, add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet, tossing it gently until coated. Finally, add the sliced steak and give it a final stir to combine. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
