Ingredients
Scale
4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
1 cup of heavy cream
2 cups of fresh spinach
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 tablespoons of butter
2 tablespoons of lemon juice
Salt, to taste
Black pepper, to taste
1 cup of cherry tomatoes, halved
1/4 cup of fresh basil, chopped
Instructions
Begin by gathering all your ingredients. Rinse the salmon fillets under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Season generously with salt and pepper.
In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant but not browned.
Carefully place the salmon fillets in the skillet, skin-side down. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until cooked through and flaky.
Once the salmon is cooked, reduce the heat to low and add the heavy cream, spinach, lemon juice, and cherry tomatoes to the pan. Stir gently until the spinach wilts and the mixture is well combined.
Remove the skillet from the heat and sprinkle with fresh basil before serving.
