8 ounces of fettuccine pasta
1 pound tender steak (like sirloin or filet mignon), cut into bite-sized pieces
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 garlic cloves, minced
Salt and pepper to taste
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente.
Reserve a cup of pasta water, drain, and set pasta aside.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil, season steak pieces with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning, cooking until browned.
In the same skillet, add butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant, then add heavy cream and gradually whisk in Parmesan cheese to create a smooth sauce.
Combine drained pasta with the sauce and add steak bites, warm everything through on low heat.
Melt additional butter in a pan, sauté more minced garlic, and coat fresh or cooked pasta shells in garlic butter.
Serve the pasta in bowls topped with garlic butter shells and chopped parsley.
