1 pound chicken breast, cut into strips
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup white wine
1/4 cup chicken broth
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
2 tablespoons olive oil

1 cup long-grain rice
2 cups chicken broth
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
2 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions
Begin by heating olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken strips and season them with salt and pepper. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove chicken and set aside.
In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Pour in white wine and chicken broth, scraping up any bits from the bottom of the pan. Allow to simmer for about 5 minutes.
In another pot, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook until soft. Add the rinsed rice and toast for a couple of minutes. Next, pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil. Lower heat, cover, and let it simmer until the rice is cooked, about 15-20 minutes.
Remove the cooked rice from heat and stir in heavy cream and parmesan cheese. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
To serve, begin with a generous serving of the creamy garlic parmesan rice, topped with the chicken scampi mixture. Drizzle extra sauce over the top and garnish with freshly chopped parsley.
