  • Place dough in a warm environment to rise for 4 to 6 hours, performing stretch and folds every 30 minutes.
  • Turn dough onto a lightly floured surface, shape it, and rest for 20-30 minutes.
  • Place shaped dough in a proofing basket lined with cloth for 1 to 2 hours.
  • Preheat oven and Dutch oven to 450°F (232°C).
  • Score the top of the dough and place it in the Dutch oven.
  • Bake for 30-45 minutes until crusty and golden.
  • Cool on a wire rack completely before slicing.
