1 cup of peanut butter (smooth or crunchy)
1 cup of granulated sugar
1 cup of brown sugar (packed)
1 large egg
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1 teaspoon of baking soda
2 cups of all-purpose flour
24 pieces of Hershey's Kisses
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine peanut butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and egg. Add vanilla extract and blend until creamy.
In a separate bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour and baking soda. Gradually add to wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
Form 1-inch balls of dough and roll in granulated sugar. Place on ungreased baking sheets, spacing 2 inches apart.
Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are slightly golden.
Press a Hershey’s Kiss into the center of each cookie as soon as they come out of the oven. Let cool for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
