  • 20 jumbo pasta shells
  • 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • Instructions

  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped spinach, cooking until wilted.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked spinach, ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well blended.
  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  • Add the jumbo shells and cook according to the package instructions, usually about 8-10 minutes, until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water to stop the cooking process.
  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Spread about 1/2 cup of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
  • Using a spoon, carefully stuff each cooked shell with the spinach and ricotta mixture.
  • Place the filled shells in the baking dish in a single layer, open side up.
  • Pour the remaining marinara sauce over the stuffed shells.
  • Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the top.
  • Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  • Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
