  • 1 cup of warm milk
  • 1/4 cup of unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup of dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup of pecans (chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt

  • Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the warm milk and yeast. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until foamy.
  • Add melted butter, sugar, salt, and egg. Whisk well to combine.
  • Gradually add the flour, mixing with a wooden spoon until the dough starts to pull away from the sides of the bowl.
  • Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  • Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for around 30 minutes.
  • Roll the dough out into a rectangle approximately 12×18 inches, spread softened butter on top, then sprinkle cinnamon, chopped pecans, and dried cranberries.
  • Starting from the long edge, roll the dough tightly into a log and slice into 12 even pieces.
  • Place the rolls cut-side up in a greased baking dish, cover again with a cloth, and let rise for another 30 minutes.
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  • Let rolls cool slightly before drizzling with a glaze of powdered sugar and milk. Serve warm.
