1 cup of elbow macaroni (uncooked)
2 cups of sharp cheddar cheese (shredded)
1/2 cup of milk
2 tablespoons of butter
2 tablespoons of flour
2 large eggs
1 cup of breadcrumbs
4 cups of vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
Boil salted water, add elbow macaroni, and cook until al dente (7-8 mins). Drain and set aside.
Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add flour, whisk to create a roux. Slowly add milk, whisk until the sauce thickens. Stir in cheese until melted and smooth.
