1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
1 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
Olive oil for grilling
Buns (whole wheat or pita)
Fresh veggies (tomatoes, lettuce, and cucumbers for garnishing)
Instructions
In a mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, feta cheese, Greek yogurt, minced garlic, chopped red onion, parsley, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix well using your hands to ensure that all ingredients are evenly incorporated. Avoid overmixing.
Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, roughly 1-inch thick.
