  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Whole wheat burger buns
  • Fresh spinach or arugula

  • Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, crumbled feta cheese, parsley, red onion, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated. Avoid over-mixing.
  • Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, about 3/4-inch thick. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty.
  • Heat olive oil in a grill pan or skillet over medium heat. Place the patties on the pan and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  • Toast the whole wheat burger buns lightly on the grill. Layer fresh spinach or arugula, sliced tomatoes, cucumbers, and a patty on each bun. Drizzle with tzatziki sauce.
