1 lb of ground beef (or turkey)
2 cups of macaroni pasta
1 can (15 oz) of chili beans
1 can (15 oz) of diced tomatoes
2 tablespoons of chili seasoning
1 medium onion, chopped
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1 cup of cheddar cheese, shredded
1 tablespoon of olive oil
Step 1: Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add chopped onions and minced garlic, sauté until onions are translucent (3-4 minutes).
Step 2: Add ground beef (or turkey) to the pot. Cook until browned, breaking apart with a spoon (5-7 minutes). Drain excess fat if necessary.
Step 3: Stir in diced tomatoes, chili beans, macaroni, and chili seasoning to combine well.
Step 4: Pour in enough water to cover everything (about 2-3 cups). Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low, cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
