6 cups of beef broth
1 cup of sliced shiitake mushrooms
2 medium carrots, sliced
1 medium daikon radish, sliced
2 chopped green onions
4 cloves of garlic, minced
1 inch of grated ginger
1 tbsp of Korean red pepper flakes (gochugaru)
2 tbsp of sesame oil
3 tbsp of soy sauce
Instructions
Begin by prepping all your ingredients. Slice the beef into bite-sized pieces, wash and chop your vegetables, and mince the garlic.
In a large pot, heat the sesame oil over medium heat. Add the beef pieces, seasoning them with a pinch of salt. Brown the meat for about 5 to 7 minutes until it's seared on all sides.
Introduce the minced garlic and grated ginger to the pot. Sauté for 2 minutes until fragrant.
Stir in the sliced shiitake mushrooms, carrots, and daikon radish. Cook for another 5 minutes, letting them soften slightly.
