Ingredients

  • 4 pieces (about 1.5 lbs) of chicken breasts
  • 1/3 cup of honey
  • 1/4 cup of butter
  • 4 cloves of garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup of macaroni pasta
  • 1 cup (shredded) of cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • Salt & pepper to taste

  • Instructions

  • Step 1: In a bowl, whisk together honey, melted butter, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
  • Step 2: Place the chicken breasts in a zip-top bag, pour the marinade over, seal and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  • Step 3: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Remove chicken from marinade, place it on a baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  • Step 4: While the chicken is baking, bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook macaroni until al dente.
  • Step 5: In a saucepan, melt 2 tbsp of butter, whisk in milk, bring to a simmer, add cheddar cheese and stir until melted.
  • Step 6: Serve chicken on a platter with mac and cheese and drizzle extra honey-garlic butter on top.
