  • Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine 4 cups of flour, instant yeast, sugar, and salt. Gradually stir in the warm water and ⅓ cup olive oil, mixing until a sticky dough forms.
  • Cover the bowl with a damp cloth or plastic wrap and let the dough rise for about 30 minutes, or until it has doubled in size.
  • Lightly flour your work surface and turn out the dough. Gently stretch it into a rectangle (about 12×16 inches) and transfer it to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  • Cover the dough again and let it rise in the baking dish for another 20 minutes. Preheat your oven to 425°F.
