Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef (or ground turkey for a leaner option)
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (try Panko for extra crunch)
  • 1/4 cup green onions, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped (optional for a fresh twist)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • For the Spicy Mayo Dip:
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha (more for extra heat)
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil

  • Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, green onions, cilantro, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, black pepper, red pepper flakes, and the beaten egg. Mix until well incorporated.
  • Using your hands, shape the mixture into golf ball-sized meatballs. You should have around 20 to 24 meatballs.
  • Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  • Bake the meatballs for 15-20 minutes or until they are cooked through and have a nice golden-brown color.
  • While the meatballs are baking, whisk together mayonnaise, Sriracha, lime juice, and sesame oil in a small bowl.
  • Remove the meatballs from the oven and allow them to cool slightly. Serve them warm alongside the spicy mayo dip.
