1/2 cup of butter (melted)

Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar, mixing until well blended. Add the canned pumpkin, egg, and vanilla extract, stirring until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, ginger, and salt. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, being careful not to over-mix.
Using a cookie scoop or spoon, drop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spaced about 2 inches apart.
