1.5 lbs of red or new potatoes
4 ears of corn on the cob (cut into halves)
1 lb of smoked sausage (sliced)
2 halved lemons
4 quarts of water
½ cup of melted butter
Instructions
Begin by cleaning your shrimp and ensuring all the ingredients are ready to go.
In a large pot, add the 4 quarts of water and bring it to a boil. Once boiling, add your potatoes and let them cook for about 10-15 minutes until they're fork-tender.
Once the potatoes are cooked, add the sliced sausage and halved corn to the pot. Allow everything to cook together for another 10 minutes.
After the sausage and corn have cooked, add the shrimp and Old Bay seasoning. Gently stir everything together and let it cook for about 3-5 minutes, or until the shrimp are pink and opaque.
Once everything is fully cooked, carefully drain the pot and transfer everything to a large serving tray. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the top and drizzle melted butter for added flavor.
