Ingredients

  • 1 lb of shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 8 oz of crab meat
  • 1/2 cup of mayonnaise
  • 1 cup of cheddar cheese (shredded)
  • 1/4 cup of green onions (chopped)
  • 1 tsp of Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp of Dijon mustard
  • 2 tbsp of butter (for toasting)
  • 4 slices of bread (your choice)

  • Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the shrimp, crab meat, mayonnaise, green onions, Worcestershire sauce, and mustard. Stir well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
  • Heat a skillet over medium heat. Melt the butter and then add the bread slices, toasting them until golden brown on both sides.
  • Once the bread slices are toasted, generously top each slice with the shrimp and crab mixture.
  • Sprinkle plenty of shredded cheddar cheese over the top of each assembled slice.
  • Place the assembled slices under a broiler for about 5 minutes or until the cheese is golden and bubbling.
  • Remove the melts from the oven and let them cool for a minute before serving.
