1 lb of shrimp (peeled and deveined)
8 oz of crab meat
1/2 cup of mayonnaise
1 cup of cheddar cheese (shredded)
1/4 cup of green onions (chopped)
1 tsp of Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp of Dijon mustard
2 tbsp of butter (for toasting)
4 slices of bread (your choice)
Instructions
In a mixing bowl, combine the shrimp, crab meat, mayonnaise, green onions, Worcestershire sauce, and mustard. Stir well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
Heat a skillet over medium heat. Melt the butter and then add the bread slices, toasting them until golden brown on both sides.
Once the bread slices are toasted, generously top each slice with the shrimp and crab mixture.
Sprinkle plenty of shredded cheddar cheese over the top of each assembled slice.
Place the assembled slices under a broiler for about 5 minutes or until the cheese is golden and bubbling.
Remove the melts from the oven and let them cool for a minute before serving.
