1 lb of ground beef or turkey
1 bag (28 oz) of frozen tater tots
1 can (10.5 oz) of cream of mushroom soup
2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese
1 medium onion, chopped
1/2 cup of milk
1/2 tsp of salt
1/4 tsp of pepper
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Step 2: In a large skillet, brown the ground beef or turkey over medium heat for about 5 to 7 minutes. Add the chopped onion and sauté until softened, about 3 to 4 minutes.
Step 3: Mix in the cream of mushroom soup and milk, stirring to combine. Season with salt and pepper, and allow to simmer for 5 minutes.
Step 4: In a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, spread the meat mixture evenly and layer frozen tater tots on top.
