10 egg roll wrappers
1 cup cream cheese, softened
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
3–4 fresh jalapenos, finely chopped
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Cooking oil for frying (optional)
Franks RedHot sauce for extra heat (optional)
Fresh cilantro for garnish (optional)
Instructions
In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, finely chopped jalapenos, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.
Set the filling aside and cover the egg roll wrappers with a damp towel.
Lay an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface and spoon about 2 tablespoons of filling onto the center. Fold the bottom corner over the filling, fold the sides in, and roll tightly.
Moisten the edge with water to seal it.
Heat 2 inches of oil in a deep skillet over medium-high heat. Test the oil’s heat with a small piece of bread.
Fry the egg rolls for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
Serve with dipping sauces and garnish with fresh cilantro or green onions.
