1 medium head of cauliflower, cut into florets
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (for a vegan option)
1 tablespoon soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley or green onions for garnish
Instructions
Begin by preheating your oven to 425°F (220°C).
Wash and cut the cauliflower into bite-sized florets.
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the olive oil, honey or maple syrup, soy sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
Place the cauliflower florets into the bowl with the sauce. Toss them well.
Spread the coated florets evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through.
