Ingredients
Scale
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (substitute with turkey or tofu for a leaner option)
1/2 cup unsalted butter
1 cup heavy cream (can use half-and-half or a non-dairy alternative)
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon ground cumin
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (or basil for a different flavor profile)
Instructions
Begin by patting the chicken breasts dry with a paper towel. Season both sides generously with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
In a large skillet, heat half of the butter over medium-high heat. Once melted and bubbling, add the seasoned chicken breasts. Sear for about 6-7 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium. Add the remaining butter, heavy cream, smoked paprika, and ground cumin. Stir continuously until the sauce is well-combined and slightly thickened, around 3-5 minutes.
Return the chicken to the skillet, allowing it to soak up the flavors. Top with fresh chopped parsley before serving.
