  • 1 can (14.5 oz) of canned diced tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • ½ cup of grated Parmesan cheese

  • Instructions

  • Step 1: Cook the Pasta – Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and add the whole wheat pasta. Cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving about 1 cup of the pasta water for later use.

  • Step 4: Combine Everything – Return sliced chicken to the skillet, mixing it into the tomato and spinach mixture. Add cooked pasta and reserved pasta water, tossing to combine and heat through.
