Ingredients
Scale
1 ½ cups of all-purpose flour
½ cup of unsalted butter, softened
½ cup of granulated sugar
1 cup of white chocolate chips
1 cup of heavy cream
1 cup of cranberries (dried or fresh)
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
½ teaspoon of salt
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine flour, softened butter, granulated sugar, and a pinch of salt. Mix until the texture resembles coarse crumbs. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch tart pan.
Place the crust in the preheated oven and bake for 15 minutes, or until lightly golden.
While the crust bakes, heat the heavy cream in a saucepan over medium heat until it just begins to simmer. Remove from heat, add white chocolate chips, and stir until melted and smooth.
Incorporate the eggs and vanilla extract into the melted white chocolate mixture. Whisk until fully combined.
Fold in your cranberries gently into the chocolate mixture.
Pour the filling into the pre-baked crust and spread it evenly. Bake for an additional 25-30 minutes, or until the filling is set and the edges start to lightly brown.
Once done, remove the tart from the oven and allow it to cool at room temperature for at least 30 minutes. Refrigerate for an hour before serving.
Notes
This White Chocolate Cranberry Tart balances the smooth sweetness of white chocolate with the tartness of cranberries, creating an irresistible dessert.
