1 lb of shrimp (peeled & deveined)
8 oz of crab meat (fresh or canned)
8 oz of cream cheese
1 cup of shredded mozzarella
¼ cup of chopped green onions
2 cloves of garlic (minced)
8 slices of toast (French baguette or other)
1 tsp of Old Bay Seasoning
1 tbsp of lemon juice
Instructions
Begin by rinsing the shrimp under cold water and patting them dry with a paper towel. Season lightly with salt and Old Bay Seasoning.
In a skillet over medium heat, add a tablespoon of olive oil. Once hot, add the shrimp and cook until pink and opaque—approximately 3-4 minutes on each side. Remove from heat and set aside to cool.
In a bowl, combine the cream cheese, shredded mozzarella, minced garlic, chopped green onions, and lemon juice. Mix until well blended.
Gently fold the cooled shrimp and crab meat into the cheesy mixture. Be careful not to over-mix.
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange the slices of your chosen bread on a baking sheet and lightly toast in the preheated oven for about 5 minutes.
Spoon generous amounts of the cheesy shrimp and crab mixture onto each toasted slice of bread.
Return the assembled toasts to the oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbling and slightly golden.
Remove from the oven, let them cool for a minute, and serve hot.
